The posibility of that is really big, as far as I know, back then when I was a Full Member, I remember him telling me that he has alts including TheBitcoinExplorer, though I don't know what the other one is. The user is still a student so maybe he's just using his allowance and haven't been able to come up with a solution to pay his loan.
I remember him messaging me in Telegram about those things too. I forgot what it was all about though. I just know that he had alts, just like you said. It's saddening that he had done those kinds of things. I hope he manages to pay it back, borrowing is risky.
This is a different loaning story, I have funded a loan request by a user named pinoyden and even though he got banned, he still paid me. Messaged me through telegram and told me not to worry. I hope this could serve as a reminder that not everyone will scam. Just be careful with the amount you are risking too.
