Although I am a believer in the free market, I dont have an interest in selling merit and I dont think people should sell it either.

If you are implying I would sell merit and subsequently reverse the transaction, that would be receiving money for nothing and I wouldnt do that either.

I agree with the OP. You should have a grace period to reverse sent merit. Some people use phones with small screens that make it easy to misclick. Others may otherwise make mistakes in giving merit.
