It must be depressing to be a conservative. In the long run, you always lose the culture wars:
- allowing women to vote
- allowing education for girls
- allowing racial desegregation
- separation of church and state
- gay marriage
- stopping Catholic priests from kiddy fiddling
- not being allowed to use racial epithets at work
- and now losing the fight on climate change
It must be exhausting to be constantly on the wrong side of history
If you think we are loosing, you are reading the wrong papers.
