do you guys know the chinese dogecoin1.51 is wrong about chinese?
in the corner left-up the Chinese :莱特币 ,which means litecoin, not dogecoin. dogecoin should have been :狗狗币.
every time saw this , WOW, such Chinese, much wrong!
It's 狗狗幣 in proper Chinese though.
Taiwan and Hongkong using 幣,but China use 币.
Chinese is 幣, Mao's communist regime introduced characters like 币 because he though mainlanders were too stupid to learn characters like 幣.
But Chinese wasn't invented in the 20th Century, so by proper Chinese I mean 狗狗幣 not 狗狗币.
Is that 幣 Cantonese? Some months ago I thought about learning cantonese but wasn't sure, I read I should learn normal chinese instead. What's your opinion?
幣 is both Cantonese and Mandarin. Just not the simplified character, but the traditional one.
There is no "normal Chinese", you mean Mandarin. For most people it would be more practical to learn Mandarin than Cantonese, but both are fine languages.
