Thanks! My LIST Banned users had a problem at that time, so it didn't remove him when he posted. Vphasitha01 should be off the list on my next update (but I won't update old posts in this thread).I don't think merits sent to a banned user are wasted. They still indicate an opinion about the merited post, and this serves as an example. They can only be considered as wasted if you believe the sole function of merits is as a ranking tool. I believe this is a secondary purpose, and the main use is to encourage good posting, and to guide users to follow community guidelines.
Bans are often for plagiarism, which means the Merit should have been sent to the original post.But indeed, it's not necessarily a bad thing. I'm currently at 25 Merit sent to banned users in the past 180 days. That's about 1% of what I've sent.
Does anyone want to see an update?
