I think you can also just use a third party such as https://btcpayjungle.com with almost (if not) exactly the same functionality. Atleast- that's what i've read about it.

I like the idea behind the convenience model, but there is too much of a security concern that will float around in my mind every single day. I don't think anyone should discard these concerns just for the sake of saving a few dollars. It defeats the whole purpose of BTCPay server in my opinion. Perhaps I'm too overly paranoid.
I do however appreciate how honest they are by clearly articulating what the risks are, which can't be said about most other sites providing a similar service.
