on this forum and been stopped as you mentioned you do lack of budget- sounds too bad but you should face up on what are the possible outcome that
do happen yet not all business would end up well.
I think the problem here is that the owner is risking something hoping in return that the site would run smoothly but it turns out that it didn't. So now they are forced to sell or close down because they were lacking funds to continue. It's just sad to think that after all they've been through it ends up like this.
Anyway OP, if the site is fine why not find someone who can fill the gap in your site? I mean there are ways to get some funds to sustain it for a little bit.
