This way he doesnt need to carry the paper wallet around, and can spend his coins whenever and wherever he wishes too. In my initial days I too had used paper wallets, and as a newbie I didnt like it at all hence I maybe biased towards using paper wallets.

Because it is supposed to be a gift and I want to hand over the Paper Wallet in a birthday card or something similar.
