The current DT system rewards the most motivated and willing to manipulate. Obviously the conmen are going to put in more effort than the rest of us to maintain their ratings, especially if thats the only thing they associate with being relevant. You can only hope that one day the system stops pandering to scammers and starts rewarding innovation. Unfortunately, I fear Bitcoins success turned many of its cypherpunk protectors into scared businessmen.
