Creating an address with the name of the institutions is just a waste of time and scammers could use a similar address to fool people. Thus in my opinion making addresses for the sake of recognition is not needed.

Although QR codes are unique I've seen some people that encounter with some errors, like a doubled scan one. I think it is pretty cool to have a personalized one, like a username for the address. Out of all of this, be careful with sending to different addresses.
