We are talking of the platform here, there are projects in IEO that are profitable and there are not.
I think most of the IEO are not even profitable at this stage now, AFAIK, only those projects that are in big exchanges are gaining popularity like in Binance but I believe IEO is not profitable in overall.

Most IEOs from Binance benefit 5x the number of participants who participated, but now Binance hasn't announced and when IEO will be launched, but there are also other IEOs on the market that are successful with a good marketing team, I'm sure it will be as successful as IEO at Binance.
