Just troll the lottery winners history and you will see several players that won the Lottery with much less tickets than 500.
Be careful not to create a expectation with people that they would have a better chance of winning, if they have 500+ tickets, because the odds are still very much against them with that amount of tickets. 
I have a weird feeling that we are running circles here.
The problem is, there are thousands of those lottery participants 50-500 tickets and only one of them wins the lottery
Winning with 500 tickets is indeed not impossible for SOMEBODY. It is nearly impossible, FOR YOU. (Assuming you only control 1 account with 500 tickets
