That is one of the chain-effect of the 2018 bear market. Some of the individuals or companies didn't able to withstand the wrath of it. And aside from that, even there is a so-called "project", maybe others aren't interested anymore to test the waters at those freelance works that pay in crypto.

Back during the hype of 2017, lots of projects just popped out of nowhere due to the fact that it's quite easy to set up a project as regulations aren't that strict.

But don't stop, if someone has a special talent, just continue offering services at any platform. However, consider thinking about other alternatives as we all know that any crypto-related works aren't bound to lasts forever.

True enough, rather than grieving on what happened, make yourself more productive and search for alternatives of it, as long as we are earning bitcoin no matter what services it is (it should be legal), it is still an achievement and it means that bitcoin is fulfilling its promises and its job to help people, we just have to look on different angle to see other opportunities to help us.

We could not rely to bitcoin all the works, there is a saying that "actions speaks louder than voice"
