There is no proof of capacity. There is though proof of address and proof of ID with photo before you can run a NOIA node. Anybody with a computer, big or small, can run a NOIA node. The rewards are fixed for certain criteria - additional rewards.

Then can you tell me what is the need for space when we are running the node? from the document I read here https://docs.noia.network/noia/noia-node
we need a space to get the incoming data and sending it to the requester. Does not that mean we are running proof of capacity?
and what is proof of address? I did not find anything about it on the doc

Noia explains:
Hello,

it seems you mixed the Blockchain Consensus (named PoW/PoC) and KYC element 'Proof of address'  Smiley

The only coin I know that has proof of capacity is Burstcoin where the node maps your entire allocated harddisk for use and give appropriate rewards. In Noia, the minimum space to share is 100MB and it doesn't matter how much you share, you still get the same amout of reward.

The fact that you don't get "proof of address" means that you never attempted to run a NOIA node.
