Since your business already has a contract, ask your client for an advance to get started. Isn't that how the these things typically work?

And if he gets paid 10% at a time, shouldn't the loan request be 10% of the contract at most? 35k pounds / $45k instead of $75-100k.

Not that he has any chance to get it. Just the numbers not adding up irritate my OCD.
