People are surely being blinded by their greed if they would fall on to this kind of tricks.
And also those airdrops that would ask for private key or keystore is clearly a scam so how could anyone fall for it?
Those new in crypto should be guided properly and know the difference between scam and legit airdrops if they want to join airdrops.

Maybe asking for their information. That's the payment that they're gonna conduct.
About your second statement, it was too good to be true of a MEW site to collect my tokens back when I tried to register into one of the airdrops.
People should probably use disposable email address for these kind of acts, because it is everywhere from what I can see.
