Unfortunately, this didn't happened. We are all frustrated on the current status of Ethereum right now. I agree that it is the strongest coin next to bitcoin but having bitcoin in a crisis right now greatly affects the value of ethereum. There's still time actually, a bull run is expected for bitcoin so that means a bull run can also be expected in Ethereum so let us just hold our hopes for it and sooner or later, it will surely reach that 1000$ we've all been waiting for.

There won't be $1000 Ethereum anytime soon. Maybe after Bitcoin ATH. One of the reasons for ETH popularity and price growth ware also ICOs in 2017, early 2019. Not sure how many people are using smart contracts which is basically the only feature ETH is special for.

The market is crashing again and ethereum is going down more than 10% and the day is not over, as much as I like ethereum and what it brings to the market of cryptocurrencies I'm starting to have my doubts that we will ever see ethereum above 1000 and even if we do then I have to wonder what kind of price bitcoin will have at that point in time because it doesn't seem as if ethereum is capable of being as profitable as it was in 2017.
