The altcoins have been around for years and market cycles repeated its seasonal price movements. Many top altcoins in 2016 were not even in top 500 CMC list currently. The educated investors know which projects are going to be successful and they make a wiser choices compared to the ICO hype during the 2017, it is an obvious fact that the majority of investors don't want to be involved in the scam projects.

That's right, CMC should not just be the basis as sometimes they are also paid one although they are insisting that they are not paid one, look at the LIBRA coin, there is no data, not even launch, and exchange yet, but it is already available there, also scam projects are also there, even shitcoins while some projects cannot enter CMC that easily that they need to comply all the requirements.
