Recently I withdraw my Bitcoins from Bitstamp to kraken using my old address (2017). After 6 confirmations, I noticed that the bitcoin is not on my account. I had a conversation with the support team and told me that my bitcoins would be delayed due to changes of address and will be charged by a small fee which is okay with me. I asked them at least a timeframe when will be updated and they told me that it can take months depending on the developer.

Is there any thing I could do to expedite the process and getting my bitcoins from my old address to newly generated address? I think it would be unfair if I will wait for months.

Based on the response you got from our support team, it sounds like you deposited to an expired address. Please note we have warnings on the deposit page asking clients not to do this, as well as mention of this in our support articles. Unfortunately, we can't provide an ETA for when it will be credited because of the fact that it is reliant on developer intervention.
