Do I need some verifications if I install coinbase in my android phone with sms like whatsapp that I have to have his sim inserted (phone number) ?

Coinbase do SMS based 2FA so an old phone should be fine. I don't know if they demand the usage of an app. They also seem extremely sensitive about people changing locations so you might end up with the same problem.
I doubt they would let you deposit anything until you were completely verified, and there's no point in doing so, so you have nothing to lose by attempting it.
