Oh? you are just concerned about your own smerit allocation. I thought that you had just become an smerit source, and I thought that theymos had just increased the smerit allocations of almost all smerit sources. Therefore, it seems way too premature to publicly request an increase in your own smerit allocation, unless you have some kind of personal circumstances that were overlooked? Anyhow, I am thinking that when theymos assigned you as an smerit source, he already considered how much he would allocate to your source, and so it would likely be better to just try that out for a while, before asking for an increase in your smerit allocation. Am I missing something?
Yeah! you are missing how to summarize a post. It seems I need to find someone who will give me a summarized report of your post so that I do not need to read the wall of text :-P
Anyway, jokes aside, I really do not go with a set of rules like giving out 1 merit or 2 merit and not more than that in a post. When I see a post and if it's merit worthy then I do not hesitate to send the merit. I judge the post and imagine a number that worth it and give it away if I have sMerit available.
The source I got was used I guess within a week. The reason was that I had a long list of post which I had to plan to merit. So once I was assigned as a merit source my source merit did not last long and if I am not wrong then even today I have no sMerit LOL
By the way, I am not complaining but just explaining how it goes with me.
