Youre somehow right with your prediction but the trend is not applicable to Ethereum alone because the market is in the state of manipulated momentum and that doesn't mean ethereum market won't experience some slightly surge in price. Besides, if you check the price of ethereum right now is in green state.

From day to day, you'll notice that the price goes up and down all the time. That's nothing abnormal. You have to look at the longer term charts to see which way the price is trending. Now, if you notice several days in a row that the price is up, then that may mean that an upwards trend is forming and the price may be rising up. One day the price being up and the next it being down is actually pretty normal though.
