I am pretty sure that 98% of altcoins will Die anyway. no matter if Bitcoin Price increase to that point or not. Altcoins are going to die. maybe some major altcoins manage to survive. only 1% or 2%. and rest of them will vanish.
and I think Bitcoin will a lot of time to reach $100k. maybe it take 2 to 5 more years. that's my point of view.

I also agree with your opinion, the chance for the altcoins is very low. From the statistical probability theories, the probability of surviving in the bear market is less than 10% according to my own research based on the tehcnical&fundamental analysis. The $100K BTC price means the market will turn its colour to green for a long time after the bear market but I doubt the altcoins will follow the BTC.

Maybe altcoins that doesn't have good volume might gets vanished, but the chances were very low in my opinion. If there happens a situation where bitcoin reaches $100k surely the trend will be followed by the altcoins, but this will get limited within specific margin. Beyond that the growth gets terminated. Each and every altcoin that are in the top are updated with the network which means those altcoins will serve the users and won't go vanished upon the Bitcoin's growth.
