I never said they don't care. Of course they still do but what's probably more important to them is the level of anonymity a certain coin gave provide for their transactions.

Monero did lose miners from their latest upgrade (read ALTCOINSMonero loses quarter of miners as network sees successful shift to RandomX) but that number might grow again.

I don't know about Deepoinion, I read some people saying it's a scam coin but that's irrelevant to the discussion. Surely, there will be competitions and users can choose which anonymous coin they prefer.
