Bitcoin bullish momentum always affect altcoins and I strongly believe that bitcoin is going to get bullish this year. Altcoins has refused to recovered since December 2017 and we hope this year is going to be different because of the halving.
Altcoin pumping in 2017 was not bitcoin halving effect, i'm sure it's because many investors are investing in altcoin and ICOs that's why altcoin's price was going crazy even the ETH was surpassing bitcoin at that time. So i think right now people are already losing interest with altcoin and cryptocurrency need something new to show if want to hook investors back.
