I think it was possible in USA Ohio State, but may not be possible anymore...

So let's say instead of paying my taxes in Japanese Yen (assuming I live in Japan), I will pay the government in BTC.

I'm surprised not more governments are accepting Bitcoin payments for taxes. Makes it really easy for them to use chainalysis and track your coins.
