It's as if all of this really isn't a big deal to him, and the only things on his mind are his weight gain and that he feels a little sleepy. Is the guy just a sociopathic narcissist? He's completely oblivious to what's going on around him.

i think that's a bit harsh, can you imagine the stress this guy is under? Dont get me wrong, I think he's a piece of $hit for letting the company 'lose' 700K BTC but he would have thousands of people hounding him about millions of dollars being lost. I would be delirious and delusional too with the pressure and expectations on me if i were him. He's probably got death threats coming at him left right and centre. I'm pissed and i've only got $300 at stake, imagine people with $30,000 or $3,000,000!

I kinda feel for him a little and hope he gets his shit together to bring gox out of this mess.
