As long the spam was based "zero knowledge about the forum" and he not doing spam for :

Copy - paste from other resources/websites to raising activity.
Spam promotes his link at the different threads.
Begging merits

Give him temp ban 7 days already enough, i also will un-ignore him went he already change. Went he got a ban, i believe he will ask to local board the reason of that went he got the reason for temp-ban he could think twice before doing any action again.
