It appears to be based on the size of your order. Single Nuptune refunds are in fiat and multiple units are in BTC set by the BitStamp price but they don't tell you when they are doing the transfer... could be $450 per BTC or $650... I queued up a refund for 3 of 4 of my units, fiat was not an option. Still waiting for BTC but not a big deal. Spent 30 BTC for these 3 Neptunes, getting back around 45-50.

KNC has been good to me and I still have my hosted units and 1 Neptune to see if they can pull this off like they did with the Jupiter. It will be interesting the BTC path for the coins... I'll share once I get them.
