I have to disagree. "Diversification" may be a good thing to do in the stock market, but not in the cryptocurrency sector. There are far too many projects and many of them are copycats of the earlier ones. I would recommend the new users to stick to the tried and tested, rather than going for the new projects. For the last 3+ years, this tactic has worked for me.

Actually diversification still applies to crypto, it is not just applicable at all times. Investing in coins in tops like ETH, BTC, and all the mostly known coins in the CMC is quite a good thing.
Project is such a generic term to describe that even the known coins I mentioned are still considered to be project because it keeps getting developed. It is just one of those projects that stands out over all those shit coins in the market.
