Please note that each wallet has its own unique address or tag with a private key, which is required to restore your wallet if it is lost. Ditex service never asks for your private keys. Keep them in a safe place and do not show them to anyone. If private keys are stolen, your wallet with all coins will be lost forever.

Crypto review: bitcoin price, first US cryptocurrency market, coronavirus on the crypto market and other news

Bitcoin price. Last week was the hardest for bitcoin referring the price. Fist cryptocurrency lost almost in price from $10 000 on Monday to around $8500-$8600 on Sunday, totally dropped on 11%. Up to date (02/02/2020) bitcoin is trading around $8700.
Obviously, BTC drop caused drop of altcoins either. The price of Litecoin and Bitcoin SV fell by more than 20%, Tezos suffered about 17% of losses, and Ethereum, XRP, and Bitcoin Cash lost 15-16%.

Coronavirus ruins markets. Noteworthy, cryptocurrency drop occurred together with the collapse of world stock market, caused by growing fears of coronavirus spread and respective consequences for world economy.
Ethereum community contradictions. Last week, a number of well-known representatives of the Ethereum community signed a petition to refuse launching of the ProgPoW code, which should make mining of the second-largest cryptocurrency on ASIC equipment ineffective .

By the way, the ProgPoW proposal (EIP-1057) was put forward in January 2019 and is intended to replace the current Ethash algorithm. If adopted, ETH mining will be performed exclusively on more traditional hardware like video cards, limiting the influence of ASIC miners.

Many developers and hardware producers consider this proposal hasty and even capable of splitting the network.

Establishment of the first US cryptocurrency Bank. The idea belongs to Caitlin Long, a well-known supporter of cryptocurrencies and co-founder of the Wyoming Blockchain Coalition. Blockstream, a technology company known for its developments in the field of bitcoin, is also taking part in the Bank establishment.

The Bank will operate in the state of Wyoming and will offer institutional investors the opportunity to make cryptocurrency payments, custodial services, and operations with digital securities. It is known that to date, the project has received $1 million of seed investments.
