Problem with some newbies are not the lack of confidence just like you mate but their main concern is to rank up to join signature campaign and earned from it. Thank you. I think I can get another 1,000 merits for the whole year 2020. Although I'm more interested in activity. But yes, you're right, a lot of people are interested in subscription and bounty, not knowledge and development. A forum for them, like a milk cow.
