I know you are a big fan of semantics, but a technical analysis of an analogy is beyond asinine and merely serves as a distraction from the point, as well as further excuse for abuse. The question of his sincerity is a non-sequitur. This is not an appropriate use of the trust system.

If he's being sincere, then he isn't abusing you. He's doing what he thinks is right.
