Algumas exchanges já fazem prova de origem por meio de soluções da Chain Analysis ou de companhias similares. Outras estão nem aí para a origem de grandes volumes, esse é um dos problemas. Se solicitarem o KYC para movimentações grandes é para se evitar e identificar, possiveis hacks na API, práticas desonestas de trading - como ordens spoofing - e a nacionalidade do individuo/organização - os americanos e algumas outras nacionalidades possuem restrições em relação a alvancagem da plataforma..

O problema do KYC é que pode ser burlado. Você viu o caso dos hackers norte coreanos?

Existem falhas no KYC. Em relação ao vídeo, supomos que eu seja um lavador de dinheiro com esse montante de criptos. Eu contrataria alguns mendigos, pagaria um dia de "princesa" para eles e pediria a eles que fizessem o vídeo. Ou seja, há até como burlar o vídeo.
