In my opinion, a lot of Bitcointalk users after hacking believe that they have lost their profiles forever and give up.
But if we will not responding to such people and leave this situation as it is, then more and more hackers, cheaters and account traders will increasingly replace normal posters which accidentally lost their profiles.
Therefore, I think it is necessary that all interested persons at least know that their accounts can be restored.
The suggestion makes sense for some cases, for the others it does not. <...>
Instead of mass emails, Bitcointalk admins could set a reminder in the forum
News line.
Then I suppose much more people with hacked profiles would know that there is a way to restore their accounts.
