I haven't mined AEON for ages, but:
1. A list of pools can be found at https://miningpoolstats.stream/aeon ; make sure you look only at the ones with recent activity.
2. Each pool has somewhere written how to configure the miner; some do it better than others. One hopefully good is at https://aeon.miner.rocks/#getting_started
3. I've read on AEON discord ( https://discord.gg/xWZ2z78 ) that AEON is ASIC-mined (too) now. It may worth checking this if you mine with something much weaker.

so it is not recommended? what's easily minable currently? with cpu

Aeon is FPGA/ASIC, no point bringing a CPU peashooter to a gunfight. Try XMR on randomX for a start...
