That's certainly true, mate. After all, cryptocurrency investments are not suitable for everyone. You will have to deal with volatile prices across the market in order to prevent undesired losses. This is probably because the market is too small and highly unregulated within the mainstream world. While Bitcoin has been long hailed to be the "safe-haven" asset in times of turmoil, the recent coronavirus pandemic has proved it wrong. Many people are cashing out crypto for Fiat right now. The only way crypto will gain mainstream adoption is if it becomes stable in price and scalable for the whole world to enjoy.

Despite this, I'm still confident that crypto will result in a great investment over the long term. I don't think this year will be a bright one for crypto, but upcoming ones will. It's only a matter of time before the monetary system collapses in its entirety, before people resort to other alternatives. The mere fact that crypto is decentralized, is one of the reasons why people will invest in it more thoroughly. But this will take time, as the industry is still in its infancy. As a golden rule, always invest into prominent cryptocurrencies in the market like Bitcoin and Ethereum. They're proven to be quite resilient at times, with an ample support of developers and individuals worldwide.

The Bitcoin halving will be an interesting event that will take place this year, leading towards an astronomical rise in crypto's price (hopefully). If you manage to stock up some Bitcoin and other cryptos in the top spots in market cap, you'll be able to profit in no time. In times where governments are printing more money (inflation) in order to "control" the economy, crypto comes into play. Fiat will continue to lose its value, while crypto will stand strong for years to come. It's one of the many reasons why most people should consider investing into crypto on top of Fiat. But the ultimate decision will rely on the person himself. Just my opinion

You can really avoid most of this drama and headache by buying as many ETH in the low hundreds range that you can and waiting patiently up to 2021 and beyond Grin
