Custodial exchanges are basically all grey market, as they are offering securities trading but are not licensed. Many will exit scam. All of them take your money, and can do whatever they like with it. And they have the power too easily trade against you.

Edit: did you know that most of those custodial exchanges get their pricing data from the same place? That's why they all went dark at the same time a little while ago.

The majority of people don't care about the cryptocurrency ideologies. Alternative currency, privacy, etc are not important to them.
