For me, it is not that hard to overcome addiction because from the start, I tried to control myself so I'm prepared and ready when things go wrong. Treatment centers are not required if you are mindful of your doings and if you're wise enough.
Good advice. I agree that if we prepare everything properly from the beginning, then we won't have difficulties facing addiction or another problem in gambling. However, sometimes we still need treatment centers when there is an unexpected problem to happen. We don't know what it is, but it is possible to appear. So, don't exclude treatment centers even if you have already good knowledge or understanding of gambling. Who knows, you will need it, buddy.
I think not all addicted gamblers manage to get out of their own addictions. That's why treatment center/rehabilitation center or on what you call it helps the person who's addiction is severe enough that it need help from others. You have a strong self-awareness if you cure your addiction by yourself.
