As a jackpot hunter, I was excited at first that the requirements were loosened,ad that now we have more chances of hitting it. But then I realized that it's not that simple. Can you please explain, compared to previous requirements, do we have more chances, or less, or is the probability of hitting the Jackpot remains the same?
In the previous implementation with BetIDs you had no way to account for the way your betID was allocated. While the site gives them out based on the order bets are submitted to the server, that's not easily verified.
In this implementation, all requirements of the jackpot can be determined based on the server and client seed. This way you can 100% verify that your chances of hitting the jackpot are as advertised.
So, in short: It makes the jackpot more transparent, it doesn't change how likely it is.
