I understand where you are heading to. But not all altcoin are to be expected to do well, don't jump into any altcoin blindly you can limit your altcoin investment, or if possible focus on one.

Most people enter the cryptocurrency market for the purpose of investing in order to make a profit, there are many who are not even interested in what blockchian technology is.
For that reason they became Fomo with news and could buy any altcoins introduced.
Personally, I paid for the same case, I bought a lot of coins from new projects. There are some projects that are really profitable but most often end up with a pile of trash.
At the moment I only focus on investing in Bitcoin and the coins in the top 20 largest currencies on the market.
