This means that they are not really from Google? There were rumors that Google will also have its venture in cryptocurrencies that's why some can't avoid thinking that projects like this might belong to Google.
But, we don't know if it's from them or not. We have to wait for their announcement if they are already in.

I find it extremly unlikely that a company like Google would let someone use Boogle as their search engine brand, if they are not a sub-co or affiliated (Partnered).

I've googled actually the word Boogle and there's an actual relation to them. Let's wait for someone more knowledgeable about the things that Google does or knows more about this Boogle.
