Firstly, I don't think the various statistics about GDP are especially accurate and to the extent that they are they don't mean a lot. Once any nation has been borrowing from a central bank for a period of time the interest accrual becomes enourmous. That is not denominated so much in monetary terms as it is in control of the nation being ceded to the lender.

I think that the world has just witnessed what I mean about 'control' in that so much of the world has gone into lockdown over something which, if real at all, is something which Fauchi characterizes as possibly the equiv of a bad flu. It cannot be ignored that the W.H.O., which is part of the U.N. and is funded significantly by single wealthy individual with a known agenda, was the driving force behind a lot of the 'guidance' issued to worlds so-called 'leaders'.

The hypothesis which I can see fitting the best is along the lines of supposed whistle-blower Ronald Bernard has said. That is somewhere in the 800 to 1200 person range of people who have effective control over the planet. They would largely be people nobody has ever heard of. Some are capable operatives who've been promoted/inducted (where psychopathy is one of the necessary characteristics) and some/most are heirs to dynastic wealth pools formed hundreds of years ago and grown since then.

Most of the faces you might see or names you might here (Trump, Gates, Rockefeller, Rothschild, etc) are important but most of them are probably not even in the core group.

1984 had it right that these people are primarily not driven by ethinc politics such as race, and not necessarily even money other than it represents power. They delegate to operatives (e.g., Trump, various 'Russian oligarchs', etc) to sit on boards of directors, take hedge-fund chairmanships, etc.

There are some indications that these people are fairly religious in their own bizarre and dangerous ways. Permutations on religious themes which originated long before the Abrahamic monotheistic religions (but wormed their way deeply into most of them.)
