It could be because some users won't bother reading and just go straight to the website provided in the OP. I personally don't have any issue with them taking down removing their ANN tbh. You can find them from LoyceV's archive anyway http://loyce.club/archive/posts/5425/54253669.html

That's the reason we removed the poster. We wouldn't want to create a good poster that attracted players, but when they visited the link and what they see is a broken site. That would disappoint our prospective players and creates a bad experience.
