It means you can control yourself very well, boy. The point is "you only use money intended for gambling, and never use other money". I agree, you're still in control. Those who are not will tap those funds meant for something else and that can be the start of another problem. If he wins and get back the money he just lost, I don't think he will stop, I think he will think that he can still gamble because he is already winning, but what if he lost it again?

You're safe, I'm like you, before I start gambling I promise myself if I lose "this amount" of money, I'll stop. And for the record I always stop. I never even gamble way huge amount of money, I don't treat gambling as a job, its still an entertainment for me. An opportunity to earn but we still have to accept that we won't always earn, and its alright. Losing is part of gambling.
