In future it may not be that necessary. And this wallet has an interesting format, it is like a mobile hardware wallet. It is possible that they are thinking about the future when we will be carrying bitcoins like a credit card, and keep most of our btc stash in safety at home in a trezor or ledger device

I receive a wallet as well, but it is not in the same city as I am now, due to corona virus crisis... I will make my review in a few weeks

I guess we can work around this limitation with Memu or some other Android emulator.
Install app and use computer camera.
