Most probably. But maybe, he had a different experience or read something about it that's why he came up with such.

Anyway, here in our country, most of the transactions were made online but didn't involve crypto. People still used our currency but with the use of e-wallets. From buying essential goods to giving donations, e-wallets were utilized. It was really convenient. Though, I still wish that there would be more merchants that would accept crypto as a mode of payment.
