Greetings everyone!

I hope you are all doing great.
I used to do a job related to what I actually studied for (and I really love what I chose to study) and it was pretty interesting and exciting in the beginning, I loved it! Unfortunately, as the time went by, it became quite frustrating and time consuming. The salary was not too great, but I managed to live with it. Surely enough, there were days which reminded me why I chose to do that specific job, but had I had to keep doing it, I am not sure if I would have managed. It could be me, of course, but I grew to like it less, to put it that way.
Then, by accident (believe it or not), I got a chance to move on to a new job, one I knew literally nothing about. I accepted it by the initiative of my family since the salary was much better, and I actually grew fond of it the more I learned about it.

And here I am today, still doing that very job for a few years now, and I love it more with each new day.

The bottom line is, give it a try if you see some benefits in it, even though it might have some drawbacks. You never know how it will turn out for you.
Cheers!
