Sure they do, they even come up with such sad stories to just get donations for free.
There is no proof anywhere its legitimate charity. No verification, nothing and noone noticed from many first posts.

BTC can be easily stolen especially when people aren't that knowledgeable and they easily trust people. Nowadays, you should not let other people have access on your bitcoin wallet, especially if you know that it is for the sake of other people. Sometimes there are fund raising which is not legit, so you should check first the legitimacy of the organization if they are supported by the authority before giving donations. But if it is real, we should take actions so that we can help those people who are being scammed because we should not tolerate those kind of actions that can harm other people. Thank you for reminding us about fake stories that they are using just to get sympathy and get donations.
