Agree that Bitcoin mining can be done on any machine. But an ordinary laptop if run for full month even on cheap electricity can give you almost zero BTC. Lets just accept the fact that Bitcoin is profitable on expensive machine only and we the new comers have to look for alternatives.

the s9 is dirt cheap Under 100 USD with a power supply and earns 14 x .0775 = $1.08 USD a day before you pay for power. If your power is really cheap or free the s9 is a cheap cost and a money maker.

The s19pro is 2650 USD It earns 110 x .0775 + $8.52 USD a day. before you pay for power. If your power is 25 cents a k-watt it cost $18.00 in power

So a rich guy with an expensive machine and expensive power loses 10 bucks a day.

A poor guy with a cheap machine and free power makes 1 dollar a day. This is complete opposite of what your post said.
